Greater Clark County Schools is excited to be the only school district in the Southern Indiana area to offer two enrichment courses during intersession week. These courses will provide students with an opportunity to learn something new in a convenient, affordable, fun way!
Class Information – Location: Jeffersonville High
Theatre with Mrs. Z (Grades K-12) – Instructor: KeNiesha Zell
This intensive course will aim to bring out a student’s individuality and support with creative and artistic instruction. The goal of this course is to improve a student’s oral communication skills, creative problem solving abilities, motivation and commitment, the ability to work under pressure, and self confidence. Students will analyze the dramatic structure of plays and performance while developing acting skills through observation.
Engineering is Elementary (Grades 3-5) – Instructor: To Be Announced
Discover the world of engineering through an exciting new partnership between the University of Louisville’s J. B. Speed of Engineering and Greater Clark County Schools. Students will have the opportunity to learn engineering basics and create a variety of structure with the help of local engineers.
